Animals under kingdom Animalia are distributed in two groups-Chordates and Non-chordates. The animals, devoid of notochord, are called non-chordates. Non-chordates are classified into ten different phyla. Those are–Porifera, Cnidaria, Ctenophora, Platyhelminthes, Nematoda, Annelida, Arthropoda, Mollusca, Echinodermata and Hemichordata.
