I'd never left America prior to meeting Yağmur. I saw that movie 'Alive' when I was 6 (the plane crash film 😬) and that saved money on any future family vacations. Clever, mom!
I'd say that I missed so much -- but the truth is, I'd never been curious to see the world without Yağmur. It would have been lost on me. I'm such a cynic without her.
This is now our second international trip... Such amazing cities; such incredible times. I can't wait to go back. Thank you for expanding my horizons, girl. And for always opening my heart, and always opening my mind 😍♥️
