Hebron is the most divided city in the West Bank. Parts of the city are under Israeli control, and part under Palestinian control. Residents' daily lives involve zoning and crossing checkpoints. The most heavily guarded areas in the city are the Jewish settlements and the Cave of the Patriarchs.
