Hey guys! Here's a sped up process of my most recent painting--I have been really busy lately since becoming a Concept Artist at Mojo Game Studios (www.mojogamestudios.com), but I had some time to paint this and recorded :) In the beginning of the video I know it starts a few minutes after I began painting (so sorry I started a little late!), but you're not really missing too much--I started with a photo to set the color palette and lighting scenario I wanted and then just painted over most of it with big loose strokes. But again, if you would like a commentary version I'll also explain what I did for this and if you really want me to I'll add a small section at the beginning replicating the process I went through there. I need you to tell me because I really have no conception of whether or not this is interesting, lol.
I got a lot of great use from the cloud brushes in this set (some of the best I've ever used), though I only used those and a few others; spent a lot more time than I would have liked scrolling through to find the brush I wanted, which is why I always so strongly suggest not to have a gazillion brushes in your arsenal. But, if you're in the mood for some delving, there are some gems in there so have a look for yourself and see what you like :)
