Is BGMI Still Worth It for New Creators? The Honest Truth
BGMI continues to be one of the biggest and most influential mobile games in India. However, from a content creator’s point of view, the overall experience is slowly evolving—and not always in a positive way.
In this video, I share an honest and practical perspective on the current state of BGMI and explain why many creators are beginning to explore alternative games like PUBG New State. This is not a hate video, nor am I saying BGMI is a dead game. BGMI is still popular and will remain relevant for a long time.
That said, every game goes through a product life cycle. BGMI has reached a mature phase where content saturation, repetitive trends, and intense competition make it harder—especially for new and small creators—to grow organically.
I also talk about why PUBG New State feels closer to the classic PUBG and PUBG PC experience, with more realistic visuals, darker environments, and skill-focused gameplay. While New State doesn’t currently have a massive audience, it offers long-term potential for creators who are ready to experiment and build early.
This video also discusses the reality of BGMI esports, the limited opportunities in competitive gaming, and the risks of depending entirely on a single game for content creation. Relying on one title can be risky due to saturation, policy changes, or shifts in audience interest.
Mobile gaming is bigger than just one game. Exploring new titles can bring back creativity, enjoyment, and long-term sustainability for both gamers and creators. This video is meant to encourage a healthy discussion about the future of mobile gaming, content creation, and esports in India.
