Recreating Classic View-Master Transition in DaVinci Resolve
A View-Master is a stereoscopic viewer that was introduced in the late 1930s. It allows users to view images in 3D by inserting circular reels containing pairs of small transparent color photographs (stereo images). When looked at through the viewer, the images appear three-dimensional due to the stereoscopic effect.
It’s not surprising that a number of recent video projects have utilized the View-Master as an effect style.
