We wrote this song about how we all go through these phases of difficult mental struggles: depression, panic attacks, doubt, grief, sometimes we don’t even know what the feeling is! But it is intrusive, overwhelming, and uncomfortable to say the least. In those moments, it may feel as if you will live in that feeling forever.
But the thing about life is…no feeling can be frozen in time forever. Life ebbs and flows. Minds shift and evolve with time and with help from friends, family, and maybe professional guidance. So when we’re in those vulnerable states, we can calm our minds knowing that that feeling will pass. And with a calm mind, we can identify the root of the pain and see it for what it is.
The road to healing is not linear, nor is it quick, but with patience, steadiness, and faith, it will all come together in time.
