‘All Night’ is now streaming everywhere and we can confidently say we’ve never released a song that more accurately portrays our band’s current state of mind.
To be honest, we never really imagined ourselves being here—rounding out our twenties and still feeling so far away from the dreams we set out for in rew’s basement 11 years ago. Meanwhile friends are becoming doctors and lawyers, buying houses and starting families. On one hand, it feels discouraging, and the question stings a little bit more every year when we get asked if we’re “still doing the band thing”. On the other hand, we feel so privileged and proud to still be putting art out into the world, and frankly it feels almost impossible to stop.
We love making music together so much. It’s the thing that keeps us up through all hours of the night, the onus that brings us so much purpose and fulfillment. The countless hours we’ve put towards this project make us feel crazy sometimes, and we’re more confused than ever about the best path forward. But on days like today, we’re just so grateful to be able to present our honest experience to you in a way that you can enjoy and connect with.
