"The iris on these lenses makes a circular shape, gifting intriguing aspects to the cinematographer. The ‘cat-eye’ bokeh’s (produced at certain focal lengths, when wide open, where the lens housing cuts off the circle shape) are rendered as sharp circles as they’re neither under nor overcorrected."
