This workaround video will show you how you can change your Windows 10 password when you can log in" to your *Local user account. So beware this is not for Windows 10 users that were created and connected to Microsoft account.

**** When you change your password, please note that your EFS-Encrypted files, personal certificates, and stored passwords for websites or network resources can be lost.

I am using Windows 10 Pro and logged in as an Administrator (a local account) in this video. The workaround is creating another administrator account. If you use a Microsoft account, you can probably retrieve or change your password without this method.

A small note: I recorded this video in 2017, and I thought I will upload it, who knows it will help you still if you have this same problem.
