RAeS Greener by Design Webinar: Annual Report Launch
On Wednesday 2 October we hosted a webinar with the Greener by Design Specialist Group to mark the launch of this years annual report, which highlights recent developments within sustainable aviation, and looks at the next steps required to continue to work to limit aviation’s environmental impact.
During the webinar, we were joined by Dr Richard Wilson, Independent Consultant at RAW Aviation Consulting Ltd, who delved deeper into the technology review from the paper. Professor Ian Poll, Emeritus Professor of Aerospace Engineering at Cranfield University, and CEO of Poll AeroSciences Ltd, also gave a review of the key messages from the RAeS Greener By Design Specialist Group Conference: Contrail Management - Time For Action, which took place in November 2023.
