Without a doubt, the most popular tool that is being implemented in Google Tag Manager is Google Analytics. But once you have dozens of Universal Analytics tags that have some settings configured in a specific way (e.g. cross-domain tracking), it becomes really frustrating to update each one of them when you want to make a change to one of these generic settings.
Luckily this can be avoided thanks to the Google Analytics Settings variable.
With this variable, you can configure the most common settings and all GA tags that use that variable will automatically inherit all the settings.
