From 1963 to 1989 Champion Paper published The Imagination Series. These promotional brochures target designers, art directors, and printers. They showcase creative uses of paper on a diverse range of paper grades with various printing and finishing techniques. Each issue focuses on a theme which employs illustrations, photography, graphics, historical facts and anecdotes.
This award-winning minimalist publication explores the multiplicity of printing and finishing techniques within a conceptual framework. As a visual story, it utilizes the power of positive and negative space to create dynamic tension on the page. Odgis + Co handled the conceptualization, creative direction and production of this three-dimensional publication.
