Jevins & Silver Lake WWFF & POTA Activation - CA-1452 & VEFF-3332 (Trans Canada Trail)
Stuart recently completed an exciting amateur radio activation at the Jevins and Silver Lake Conservation Reserve near Gravenhurst, Ontario. This location proved to be an excellent choice for his radio operations, as it's a beautiful natural area and coincides with a section of the Trans Canada Trail.
The activation was a resounding success, with Stuart making over 200 contacts during his session. One of the highlights of his activation was establishing communication with 5 or 6 Australian amateur radio stations, showcasing the impressive reach of ham radio operations.
