Today on DadLabs, we bring you a traditional family recipe for Thanksgiving.
My wife's great grandmother's (MeMaw) Chocolate Pie is both tasty and doesn't take long to make. The process is fun and my toddler helps to make a recipe that was made years ago by his great great grandmother.
When cooking with your kids be sure to set an example by teaching them safety first, sharp knives should always be out of their reach, as well as hot flames.
Take the recipe step by step, it helps to get all of the ingredients out before you start. Be patient with your kids. They are going to be curious and want to do everything you do, so do your best to let them pour, mix, knead and sift.
