Peer-to-peer (P2P) architecture is a decentralized network architecture where each participant, or peer, has the same capabilities and responsibilities. In a P2P network, each peer acts as both a client and a server, allowing them to share resources and services directly with other peers. P2P architecture is often compared to client/server architecture, where some computers are dedicated to serving others.
