Replica Plating Technique.
Replica Plate Technique for Mutant Isolation- This technique is developed by Joshua and Lederburg.
They grow bacteria on master plate which is non selective, and they pick bacterial colonies from master plate on valvet cloath and innoculate them on two petri plates containing selective media. Tetracyclin containing media. only the tetracyclin resustant mutant grow on replica plates containing selective media.
