All previous views were about configuring filters in the various reporting views in Google Analytics GA4 to be able to track traffic and conversions coming from Al Platforms or LLM Assistants like ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Meta AI, Copilot Grok, Deekseek and tons of other AI tools.
in the example in this video for the include filter in LookerStudio, we used this Regex pattern:
(?i)^.*(gpt|openai|gemini|google.*bard|bard.*google|copilot|perplexity|edge\s*services|deepseek|grok|meta\.ai|claude|writesonic|neeva|nimble).*$|\.ai$|^ai[abcefghijklnopqstuvwxyz.-].*|.*\.?ai\..*
And for the exclude filter it is this Regex pattern:
(?i)^.*(campaign|air|mail|chain|baidu|fair|laid|sail|gain|main|lain|rain|pain|sain|tail|tain|rail|hair|nail|paid|wait|waist|gait|raid|maid|faint|claim|pair|stair|hail|fail|bail|jail|pail|avail|daily|daisy|dairy|kuwait|haiti|taiwan|hainan|jaipur).*
In Adobe Analytics, it is a different story, we are not using Regex in the segments. Instead we are using "Contains any of" which has this value:
gpt openai gemini bard copilot perplexity edgeservices edge-services deepseek grok meta.ai metaai claude writesonic neeva nimble ai
and in the exclude filter we use "Does not contain any of" which has this value:
