River Rock Ground Cover Replacing Plants, Low Maintenance, Save Water
Plants can be hard to maintain sometimes if you do not have a full-time gardener taking care of the plants and you do not have all the time to take care of them yourself. In the front of our house, the plants died on a sloping area and to prevent erosion and not use plants, we decided to just have a rock finish. Add a few ornamental boulders, then just cover the rest with stones.
Our process:
1. Removed all plants and weeds. If you want to avoid always bending down, I already found this weed puller convenient to use.

2. Applied some Round Up weed killer so they do not come back.

3. Covered the area with a weed blocker sheet.

4. Use some ground staples to keep them in place.

5. Bought 4 boulders for some aesthetic touch.

6. There are landscape rocks to cover larges areas on Amazon, at Home Depot, but they are often expensive. I looked for the local rock supplier in my area. That was https://www.rcpblock.com/ and when I compared prices online and from Home Depot, they were like 14 times cheaper. I suggest search your area for the local rock supplier.
