All Hail Ravana (Graphic EQ in front of Recto)
For the past few years, I’ve always put an OD in front of my Rectos to “tighten” up the sound. For the past few months though, I’ve switched out the OD in favour of a graphic EQ (before the amp input) with the bass frequencies cut and the upper mids boosted.
So it's kinda emulating what the OD’s high pass filter and tone knob are doing... but without the gain boost.
Coz God knows the Dual Rectifier doesn’t need more gain!
