How to Make a Palworld Xbox Server
Learn how the older Palworld Xbox server setup process worked using the Pine Hosting panel. This tutorial shows you how to open Server Config, find the Allow Connect Platform setting, change the server platform to Xbox, save your changes and reboot the server.
📌 IMPORTANT UPDATE
This video was recorded before Palworld introduced its current cross-platform server system.
The video demonstrates the older Allow Connect Platform setting used to configure a server for Xbox connections at the time. Current Palworld versions use CrossplayPlatforms instead, and servers are cross-play enabled by default for supported platforms.
Xbox players currently need the server to be configured as a community server and join through the in-game community server list. The exact settings and panel options may therefore differ from those shown in this older tutorial.

🎮 OLDER PALWORLD XBOX SERVER SETUP
The process demonstrated in this video was:
1. Open your Pine Hosting game panel.
2. Select your Palworld server.
3. Open the Server Config tab.
4. Find the Allow Connect Platform setting.
5. Change the selected platform to Xbox.
6. Save the configuration changes.
7. Reboot the Palworld server so the new platform setting is applied.
This previously configured the server for Xbox, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and compatible Microsoft Store players based on the Palworld server system available when the video was recorded.
🔄 CURRENT PALWORLD CROSSPLAY
Current Palworld servers use the CrossplayPlatforms setting rather than AllowConnectPlatform.
Supported platforms can now include:
✅ Xbox
✅ Steam
✅ PlayStation 5
✅ Microsoft Store PC
✅ macOS
Xbox players need to find and join the server through the Palworld community server list rather than connecting directly with an IP address.

Check that:
• The Palworld server is configured as a community server
• Xbox is included in the allowed CrossplayPlatforms
• The server has fully restarted after configuration changes
• The server appears in the in-game community server list
• The Xbox client and server are running compatible versions
• The server name is being entered correctly in the search
