Hi everyone! My name is Pat and I’m a Recovery Support Clinician here at Mountainside. One of the things I really enjoy discussing with clients is about building a network to support their recovery lifestyle. I was really excited in my own recovery to learn that I can still attend sporting events, concerts. I’m a huge fan of The Grateful Dead and I was real excited in my own recovery to learn that I can still attend those things with the support of people in recovery that have similar interests. A lot of those things are not in play today, but we do have is virtual recovery. I would like you guys to join me and the rest of the Mountainside crew on Friday Nights for our AA meeting. We bring the same excitement to the coins, to the stories, and just getting together with our alumni and our recovery friends. So please join me.
Hey All! I’m Ricky, Recovery Support Clinician at Mountainside. I love being sober, I have a great sober support network and I encourage everyone that’s new to recovery or been around a while to build yourself up a good, strong, sober support network and someone that we can step outside of your comfort zone and you know, rely on them, other than trying to get over these things by ourselves. My guys and I, some men and women in my group, we go out to movies, we go bowling, ball games. I like to bake, myself, for some excitement. I’ve gotten into making some necklaces and jewelry and things like that. But it’s all because that I have some people that I can reach out to during my time of crisis. So for me, I would encourage you to just kind of step outside your comfort zone and reach out for support when you need it. Be safe, enjoy the journey.
