Learn exactly what is the difference between Remarketing and Dynamic Remarketing in Google Ads. Remarketing is generally used for service websites, which we use to retarget the visitors who had already visited our service page. To retarget general website visitors, we need to create a remarketing list for that specific page or URL. Based on the audience size, we can retarget the users visiting that URL.
Dynamic Remarketing is generally used for eCommerce websites, where products and visitors are high. In the case of Dynamic Remarketing, we provide general inputs to Google related to our website visitors and funnel categories which users visit. Based on the inputs, Dynamic Remarketing Campaign starts chasing users on the google properties with products they visit on the website.
This is the main difference between Remarketing and Dynamic Remarketing.
When You go to Audience manager for Audience tag set up, Under the remarketing option, you get two options:
a) Only collect general website visit data to show ads to your website visitors
b) Collect data on specific actions that people performed on your website to show personalised ads.
The first option is for General Remarketing, while the second option is for dynamic remarketing.
I hope now you understand the basic difference between remarketing and dynamic remarketing.
