Huge Eastern Lubber Grasshopper in my yard!
How can such a beautiful creature wreak such havoc?
The enormous Eastern Lubber Grasshopper was meandering through my yard, its impressive size a result of feasting on the plants in my gardens. It is likely a female, given its size - nearly four inches long! These grasshoppers are a common sight in Florida, notorious for infesting gardens and devouring beloved plants!
