ARC Raiders Voice Chat Error | Can’t Talk or Hear Teammates? Voice Chat FIX That Actually Works!

A lot of ARC Raiders players on PC, Console and Steam are currently facing issues where voice chat doesn’t work even though their microphone works in other apps like Discord. In this video, I go through the exact fixes that resolve the problem.
This video provides a step-by-step guide to fix voice chat issues in ARC Raiders, covering several potential solutions (0:11-0:22). I emphasised that disabling IPv6 was the specific fix that worked for me (0:22-0:25, 4:28-4:31).
Here are the fixes discussed in the video:
1. Check Microphone Privacy Settings (0:33-1:06):
• Go to Windows Settings (Windows key + I).
• Navigate to Privacy & security, then Microphone.
• Ensure Microphone access is turned on and "Let apps access your microphone" is enabled.
2. Update Audio Drivers (1:07-1:32):
• Search for Device Manager.
• Expand Audio inputs and outputs.
• Right-click your audio input device (e.g., USB audio device), select Driver, and then Update driver.
3. Adjust In-Game Audio Settings (1:34-2:48):
• Go to the game's settings and then Audio.
• Adjust Party Voice Chat Volume and Proximity Voice Chat Volume.
• Ensure Enable Voice Chat is toggled on.
• Select your specific Voice Chat Input Device (e.g., Audio USB).
• Select your Voice Chat Output Device (your headset).
• Choose between Open Mic or Push to Talk mode.
4. Disable IPv6 (2:57-4:43):
• Go to Control Panel, then Network and Internet.
• Click on Network and Sharing Center.
• Click on your active internet connection (e.g., Ethernet or Wi-Fi).
• Go to Properties.
• Scroll down and uncheck Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6).
• Click OK and close the windows.
• I also highlighted this as the most effective fix for me (4:31-4:37, 5:22-5:34).
