Blast beats are an essential beat for any metal drummer. Blast beats have evolved significantly over the past 30 years and I wanted to show you my favourites!
In this video I take you through my top 5 blast beats. We start with the easiest one and work up to the most complicated. As we go through I'll explain how to play each blast beat with notation, slowed down and up to speed examples.
