Riding through the picturesque villages of Cummertrees and Bankend, on our way in search of a Castle.
Nearby is the Caerlaverock Nature Reserve.
A good place for a bit of peace and quiet.
The old Castle was built in 1277 and must have had a wonderful view of the sea and any invaders taking that route.
Sit back and relax as Rano & I we take you on a ride to the Castle.
At the time of visiting, those wishing to view the Castle from outside the Castle are able to do so without charge.
To explore inside the Castle, you will need to purchase a ticket in the shop.
Car parking and toilet use are free for up to 30 minutes.
You must leave after 30 minutes unless purchasing goods from the shop.
That is what we call a darn good deal!
