Wi-Fi File Sharer enables you to send and receive files from all the devices(Phones, PCs) connected to same LAN over Wi-Fi(even self-hotspot) using http.
The senders/receivers just need a web browser, nothing else, to be able to send/receive files from you.
Just launch the app on your phone, give the URL and Password to your friends and that's it. They can now browse through your phone's folders and download whatever they want. Also they can send files to a specific folder on your phone!
Ok! So you don’t want to expose all the files to your friends? No issues! Wi-Fi File Sharer has a Quick Share Feature. Add the files you want to share with your friends to Quick Share List and don’t tell them the password. They just need to go to the URL and click 'View Quick Share Files'. They will get access only to the files you selected. They can also send files in Quick Share Mode i.e. Quick Send!
Also limit the no. of clients you want to give access to simultaneously through Settings tab.
Check with the phone's RAM Usage and watch over the clients step by step through Device Info tab. Also see the receiving file's progress in the respected client's client info log!
Rapid Share: Without opening this app, first select files in the phone, just as you do to share with Bluetooth(eg: from 'photos' or 'files' apps) and then choose Wi-Fi File Sharer as share target. That's it, the files will be added to quick share and a url with no password will be shown so that file sharing becomes much faster!
Add Phone Folders: Add folders from your phone like Documents, Downloads, Ringtones etc. But due to Windows Phone limitations ,folders have to be added again if the app is re-launched.
