http://StirlingBuilder.com - The Rolling Rock Stirling Engine is a walking beam hot air engine. The pressure chamber is air cooled, so it is capable of running for long periods of time without the need for human intervention to add ice or cold water. The base of the engine is a combination of hardwoods (maple, mahogany, oak, and curly eucalyptus). The mechanisms are brass, and are fitted with adjustable clevis joints like those found on model airplanes. There is a small power take off wheel (PTO) behind the flywheel that makes this motor capable of powering small mechanical devices, such as a music box.
