When you press and hold CTRL + moving the object means you can move the object without guidelines
Double-clicking on a layer allows you to rename it
Pressing L gives you Lasso which is used to circle an object
Pressing V allows you to move the object you selected
CTRL and T allows you to move the object you dragged to your layer
Holding ALT and using your mouse scroller allows you to Zoom in and Out of the layer
Holding CTRL and using your mouse scroller allows you to move Left and Right
Holding CTRL and dragging a border ( of your selected object ) allows you to change the shape of your selected object
Pressing B gives you a brush
Pressing I gives you an eyedropper tool
To Merge layers you have to click one layer, hold shift, click another layer, right click and you'll see Merge layers
Pressing E will give you an eraser
