BOARD & BATTEN WALL | PINTEREST INSPIRED DIY
Today we are DIY'ing a Board and Batten wall in the entry way of our house! We found this idea on pinterest and I think it is such a nice feature to have in your entry way to use as a mud room type situation, or just for your guests to hang their handbags or take their shoes off. Building this wall was actually pretty simple, I will list all of the supplies you need below, and links to some of the supplies that we used.
Supplies:
1. Wood (depending on your wall it will change how much wood and the height of the pieces you select, we used 1 x 4's for most of the wall and our wall is 5ft tall)
2. 2 inch (or longer) finishing nails
3. Liquid nails paneling adhesive
4. Caulking of choice (I liked the DAP fast drying white caulk for trim) & Caulking gun
5. Paint of choice
6. Paint brushes/rollers
7. Tools you absolutely need are a hammer, and saw- we used a hand saw
