Revision 2024 - Seminar - How Computers Became Home Computers

It’s about the years 1974-1977, how individual parts and kits eventually became complete home computers.
I start with the Altair 8800 and end with the “1977 Trinity” consisting of Commodore PET, Apple 2 and TRS-80.
One focus for me was: “How do I tell the computer what I want from it?”, i.e. the user interface.
