STORYLINE:
Things become harder for Caroline at Sanctuary.
To her surprise - Luke isn't a sweet, charming man like a few years ago. He became agressive and abusive man. He can't accept the fact that Caroline doesn't want him anymore.
[Flashback] Dylan comes across Luke choking Anne, he fights with him and shoots him. Luke crossed the line when he attacked Anne and he knows it.
Caroline admits to Lydia that she's pregnant with Rick. Anne is ready to do anything to save her sister from the Saviors agression. Negan and Luke leave Sanctuary to attack Alexandria therefore Anne and Rio work together to help Caroline escape the Sanctuary. Caroline takes her chance and heads towards Alexandria's direction.
Meanwhile Negan and Luke lead an attack on Alexandria. It goes badly for Negan's group. Rick convinces Dylan to join his side to defeat Negan, he agrees. Negan and the rest of the Saviors flee Alexandria.
Caroline finds Rick, but she's not safe yet. The Saviors followed her and ambush her and Rick. The situation gets really intense, when the fight starts - Travis (Caroline's and Anne's brother) shows up and helps Rick to beat the group of Saviors that ambushed them.
Caroline is in shock, she didn't expect to see her brother again. At the beginning of the Apocalypse he was with Anne, but there was accident that split their paths, Anne was found by Saviors and Travis was on his own until now.
Rick, Caroline, Dylan and Travis are making plan for saving Anne. Dylan and Caroline are worried. They know very well there will be consequences when Negan finds out that Anne helped Caroline escape.
Negan comes back to Sanctuary. He is not pleased that Anne helped Caroline escape. He decides to punish her and Rio for betraying his trust. Luke is pissed that Caroline is back in Rick's arms. He's not gonna allow that.
Luke plans to take revenge on Rick.
While Rio is bleeding out after Negan's attack he is approached by Sherry - one of Negan's wives. She secretly had a relationship with Rio and manages to save him from bleeding out.
Luke imprisons Rick, he wants to get rid of him, but Rick takes the matter into his hands and kills him for everything he did to Caroline.
Meanwhile Caroline is worried about her sister, but Travis reassures her that they will save her.
