STEUERMANN - Dieser Song erinnert musikalisch und auch textlich etwas an das Album "Einzelhaft" und wird oft auch als Brücke zum Album "Junge Roemer" gesehen.
Der Song deutet mehr an als er tatsächlich aussagt. Man dürfte aber nicht allzu falsch liegen, wenn man das Schiff, auf dem die diversen Steuermänner in Richtung Abgrund segeln, als Symbol für den grenzenlos gierigen Kapitalismus versteht, bei dem Profit an erster Stelle steht. Menschen, die da nicht mitmachen wollen oder können, werden hemmungslos zurückgelassen.
