Log App Startup in ASP.NET Core with Serilog
Hey everyone, I'm Steve Smith aka ardalis, of NimblePros!
In this video we look at how to add logging during your ASP.NET Core app's startup in Program.cs using Serilog. Usually if there are problems when your app starts up, your application logger won't catch them because it's not yet running. That's why it makes sense to configure a separate logger specifically to wrap your application and its startup.
