I Mistakenly Bought a Fake DVD From eBay…
What up everyone, I ordered a DVD from eBay and I ended up getting what I ordered, except the DVD was third party and most likely pirated. At the end of the day I got a deal for only 35 dollars (I got the complete series of Sonic X) but on the back of the boxes it says that there are more than 2 disks per collection (collection 1 and collection 2). However, when I opened the cases there were only four disks. Collection two alone said on the box that there were 4 disks. The worst part is when I opened the DVD there was no original menu, instead I was presented with what looked like a PowerPoint burned onto a cd disk. All the episodes were there, but the video quality is quite subpar. Lmk what you guys think, and if you’ve ever received something like this from eBay. Usually I go for complete collection DVDs, but for the most part movies and tv shows on DVD are cheap. ESPECIALLY on eBay. I have never had this happen to me but I guess as long as all the episodes are available and watchable it doesn’t really matter to me. Only thing that sucks though is since it’s not an actual DVD I can’t play it on my PS2. The disk won’t read. 🤣
