Hello and welcome to this video which, in less than 5 minutes, deals with the central role that Databases play in Data Science from the acquisition of raw data, their storage and their cleaning to the analysis of a usable dataset.
Data, whether collected in the field or in the laboratory, whether it is the result of surveys or drawn from archives, are at the heart of everything. Once collected, whether by humans or softwares, they will have to be stored but, as you can imagine, this is not done just anyhow. It is indeed necessary to prepare their exploitation. To do this, they are integrated into a database structure.
