From Data to Big Data - Data Coding and Structuring [Data Science]

This video will show you how data stored in databases and other servers is coded and structured, from the smallest unit of information (the bit) to the famous Big Data.
It all began with Thomas Harriot (1560-1621), an English mathematician and astronomer, followed by Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz, a German philosopher, scientist, and mathematician (1646-1716), and then George Boole, a British logician, mathematician, and philosopher (1815-1864), who invented and developed the binary system and its extraordinary potential. Without them, nothing would function in our daily lives. Let's also pay tribute to Charles Babbage, Ada Lovelace, and Alan Turing in this adventure of computer coding and computer development.
We will take this opportunity to present the concept of input/output in programs, the role and future of databases, what the 5Vs of Big Data represent, and pay tribute to the pioneering women in data processing.
