More Loops In JavaScript
There are many functions available on the array prototype in JavaScript. A lot of these are known as higher-order functions. You may have heard that term used before for things such as map, filter and reduce. But did you know that there are many other higher order functions available that allow you, the developer, a bunch of powerful ways to loop through data?
In our last video, we covered for loops, while and do/while loops, along with for-in and for-of.
Here we will be covering forEach, map, filter, reduce, some, includes, every, and find. It's great to have lots of tools, but it's only useful if you know when to use the right tool for the right job.
By the end of this video you should hopefully feel more confident about using these functions available in the JavaScript programming language and have a better understanding of when to use them.
