Devil May Cry 5 - Vergil Doppelganger Combo Video
There are 4 combos in this video that are not doppelganger combos, but they were simply too cool for me not to include them.
This is an updated version of my previous combo video that I uploaded back in October of 2022, with 4 new combos added and 3 combos remastered/improved. As you guys already know, from May to October 2022 I had been eyeing a lot of DMC 5 combo creators on youtube, twitter, even bilibili (found some really obscure ones) and collected their sickest and most fun looking combos. I never actually thought I'd ever go through with making my own combo video, much less replicating these advanced combos, but I guess I got MOTIVATED to make what is in my honest opinion the BEST Vergil combo video out there (tho that might sound a bit pretentious, and not to mention subjective, and I don't wanna give myself too much credit).
All of these combos are replications of combos made by various advanced players, and they're usually combinations of multiple setups from multiple different combos (I had to improvise during some parts). After this "experience", I feel like I now have a much bigger appreciation of the game's mechanical depth, especially the doppelganger, which used to be an enigma to me.
Even the combos that may SEEM easy are NOT, in fact, easy by any means, and I made the mistake of making that assumption countless times. I would see a combo and go "huh this looks easy to do, shouldn't take that long", but there was always a catch. Every angle, position, frame, window, cancel, one mistake and the combo's ruined, muscle memory also plays a huge role and there are simply far too many factors to consider and sometimes you have to input something before it actually happens (delays).
