Random Revit with Danamo - Ep004 - Introduction to Curtain Walls and Nested Components
In this episode of #RandomRevit we discuss the basics of Curtain Walls in #AutodeskRevit by starting a new project in #Revit2022. Follow along as curtain walls and their nested components - curtain wall panels that are segmented by curtain wall grids which host mullions - are explained through modeling of the three default #CurtainWall types, Curtain Wall 1, Exterior Glazing and Storefront, as well as the creation of new types. We also load families via the Autodesk cloud including profiles (to be associated to curtain wall mullions) and curtain wall doors (to swap with the default panels). Lastly, we begin to review use of curtain walls in unique applications such as stacked walls.
