The veteran microdistrict with yellow houses and cozy courtyards has a long history behind it, because Osmolovka was built in the first years after the end of the war. The quarter got its name in honor of the architect Mikhail Osmolovsky, who came up with the concept of low-rise development in the post-war period, when housing had to be built in the shortest possible time.
