In this video, I'll show you how to make cute and neat angel wings out of felt, and then how to create a harness for animals to hold them on. I'm using a cat as an example, but you can make these wings for a person as well, to go with any costume or dress. You just need to double the proportions. Although the size of the wings in the video (52 cm wingspan) would be perfect for children. You'll just need to come up with a different attachment method, as in my case, they're attached to the neck and belly. The wings are lightweight, so they won't be too heavy for the animal. My cat isn't used to wearing a harness, so this was practically her first time, which is why she doesn't look so happy in the video. :)
All you need is felt (white or black), scissors, a hot glue gun, Velcro, synthetic padding, paper tape, and a metal hanger (or flexible wire).
