Hazrat Thabit bin Tha’laba. His mother was Umme Unais bint Sa’ad, who belonged to the tribe of Banu Uzra. His father, Tha’laba bin Zaid, was also called Al-Jaz’. He was given this name due to his courage, strength, determination and passion. Hazrat Thabit participated in the second pledge of initiation at Aqabah along with seventy Ansar companions. He also participated in the battles of Badr, Uhud, Ditch, the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah, the battle of Khaibar, the conquest of Mecca and the battle of Ta’if. He was martyred during the battle of Ta’if.
