In the United States, on average, 266lbs of meat gets eaten per person. In India, on average, 9lbs of meat gets eaten per person. India has 1.4 billion people. If India started eating as much meat as the US, climate change would be accelerated greatly. Our planet would quickly become unlivable for humans.
