Born in Gifu Prefecture, Kawase graduated from Utsunomiya University. Instead of seeking employment, he enrolled in Yoshimoto Kogyo's comedy training school, NSC, as part of the 10th class. His classmates included Oriental Radio, Trendy Angel, Hannya, Fruit Punch, and others.
After giving up on his comedy career, he joined Daiichi Kosho Co., Ltd. as a part-timer. He achieved the fastest promotion in the company's history, becoming the planning manager for 100 stores and the West Japan manager, overseeing 500 subordinates. He then left the company with an eye toward independence.
He traveled solo overseas for the first time to Southeast Asia, and saw great potential in Cambodia, so he decided not to return to Japan and instead decided to live there.
He was deceived by a local Japanese person he met for the first time, leaving him penniless, and despite nearly dying, he started a travel agency in Cambodia. He planned his own tours and brought 432 Japanese people to Cambodia.
There he realized that Japanese men were becoming more herbivorous.
He returned to Japan and started a business targeting Japanese men. He founded "BRIGHT FOR MEN," a dating and marriage school for men, with the goal of increasing the number of Japanese men who are confident and live vibrant lives, and contributing to Japan's declining birthrate and herbivore population.
