Learn how to work around a specific quirk in Krita to author VFX Textures. Krita's default merge behavior doesn't work how you would expect. This workaround lets use gradients to fade out parts of your texture. You use the layer blending behavior together with the Erase blend mode and the Layer Groups to set it up.
