Time Crisis in A&E
When patients with life-threatening illnesses arrive at our Acute & Emergency Care Department (A&E), our team will do whatever it takes to try to save their lives.
It takes time and many hands, but our doctors and nurses only stop if the patient's body gives up.
This means that patients with less serious illnesses or injuries often have to wait for treatment.
