AMD Messed up BIG With RDNA3 - Another Major Disappointment
About a month ago I made a video explaining how AMD basically shot themselves in the foot with the way they had structured their RDNA3 based RX 7000 GPUs. Anyone with half a brain could have told you that the true successor to the RX 6800XT was the RX 7900XTX. By shifting the tiers up they’ve dug themselves into a hole where now an RX 7800XT is going to be slower than the previous generation RX 6800XT. AMD is offering a GPU with similar specs to last gen, on a new node, new architecture and it performance the same if not worse? It’s an absolute trainwreck. RDNA3 will go down as the worst generation ever from any hardware manufacturer. The only reason why AMD and radeon are still relevant in the GPU space is because Nvidia doesn’t care about the consumer segment anymore and Nvidia are actually keeping them alive at this point. Had Nvidia’s RTX 40 series had proper pricing and specs for each sku then it would’ve been a bloodbath.
