GROWER STORIES EP. 17 | Hart's Nursery
Episode 17 of our Grower Stories episode features John Becker from Hart's Nursery. Hart's Nursery of Jefferson is located in Jefferson, Oregon, and spans over 50 acres.
Hart's uses BioTherm's DuoFin under-bench heating system in their propagation range. Another range has MicroClimate tubing on the floor, sandwiched under weed mat for perfectly-even floor heat. Their newest heating system includes MegaTube under weed-mat.
Hart's has used many BioTherm boiler systems, but most recently have upgraded to Raypak's high-efficiency boilers. These boilers power all of the heating systems throughout the facility, and most are on-demand boiler systems, meaning the boiler only runs when you tell it to, and shuts off when it reaches the setpoint.
